Contacts

A contact is a person: a lead, a customer, or anyone else your team talks to. Every contact lives in your workspace and can be linked to companies, deals, and calendar events.

  • Name: first or last name, at least one is required.
  • Email: one per contact, unique in the workspace. Contacts without an email are fine.
  • Basics: phone, job title, description, and an avatar.
  • Handles: Telegram, LinkedIn, X, GitHub, Discord, and Intercom, so you can find the same person anywhere you talk to them.

On top of that, contacts support tags, custom fields, comments, and file attachments.

A contact can belong to more than one company, and each link can carry a role (for example “CTO” or “Billing contact”). The same works in reverse: a company lists all its people.

Link a contact to any number of deals. The deal page shows its people, and the contact page shows every deal they’re part of.

Changes to a contact’s fields land in its activity feed, so you can see who changed what and when. Anyone watching the contact gets notified about updates. The person who created a contact watches it automatically.

A contact added from Telegram carries their Telegram ID, and Cavyro fetches their profile photo as the avatar automatically.

Search matches names (including full name), email, phone, and every social handle. It’s case-insensitive and matches partial text.

Deleting a contact is a soft delete: it disappears from lists but can be restored. Deals and companies it was linked to stay untouched.
